Ticketmaster and all of the bots can suck it.

Presale for UFC 318 in New Orleans opened at 10am. after 15 minutes, all gone but a few high priced floor seats. frick Ticketmaster. Go back to waiting in lines at the venue like the good Lord intended.

I heard the money that Ticketmaster collects from service charge fees goes directly towards the purchase of an extremely rare soap made from the fat of panda bears that the CEO likes to wash his balls with.

The promoters need to raise the prices on these event tickets. They're clearly too low.

Yeah. It’s really crazy. Secondary sites have tickets for sale even before tickets go on sale from the Primary site. They did that with the college World Series. Seats in the outfield were crazy on secondary sites. I got in line at the Primary site (Ticketmaster) and as soon as I was up, I was able to buy seats at half the price. I stood in the computer line for Taylor Swift tickets from my daughter. Got some pretty good seats at a reasonable price. An hour later tickets in the same row we’re selling for 5-6 times what I paid.

The real scam is the "verified resale". Someone (bot) gets on early, buys and immediately re-lists the ticket on the TM website. Who gets the fees more than once? Ticketmaster.

Typically presales do not release all of the seats. They want the premium seats bought up first. Some seats are released directly to third party websites like stubhub.

Probably through presale codes from Citi, Amex, etc. I think the last concert I looked at had presale codes for 10+ entities which could be booked with simple affiliations.
