True. And the parachutes sucked and they would usually bust up when they hit the ground.

We built one for aviation class in 8th grade.

I used a streamer for a parachute.

Me being the smart kid I was, spray painted the inside of the rocket. Nose didn't pop off cus it was stuck to the paint. BAM right thru a 6th grade classroom window. I was a hero for the next week.

Ture story. This thing almost ended my life at 9yrs old. Took it down the high slide at the local park.

Awesome.

My dad was an engineer so he wouldn't let us do much except paint and watch, and press the ignition occasionally, which sucked. But when they crashed we lol'd cause he couldn't blame us.

The Pizza Hut book club.



I had some laptop with laminated pages you insert as the "screen" and they had red dots that you touched to answer things, but I have zero idea what it was called.

I also remember the encyclopedia collections everyone had that were rainbow when sitting on a shelf together.




Used to use that in the pool.
