Mental illness of this type is also about attention. Irrational, sick people don't accept bullet proof answers such as this and thus choose a different angle, like alerting the media to get what they want.

They should remove all signs from the restroom doors and put a penis on one set and a vagina sign on the other door and state they are equipment specific and have nothing to do with sex.

My answer is that your question is not worth an answer, because it is nonsense in my opinion. The two issues have nothing to do with each other. The only reason you would ask such a question is to try and paint someone into a corner so that you can ridicule them no matter what their answer is.
If in your mind transexuality and homosexuality are of the same category, no answer of mine will satisfy you because we obviously think of the issue too differently. You seem smart enough to know that already, so the only angle you could possibly have is to paint me into a corner. I will not give you the satisfaction. I appreciate the effort however.

I'm pretty ignorant on the whole situation...is a transgendered person someone that was born with male genitalia but has female chromosomes? Or just a male who wants to be a female? Or both?
