Mine has been great. Nothing but routine maintenance except the sunroof leak which dealership fixed. It should already be resolved when you buy used I think it was a minor recall. Car performed well in FL and on German autobahn and Alps while blending in better than most.

Mama BFIV bought a new 2017 Golf Sport Wagon. 103K miles on it so far. Goes great in the snow with the AWD. Highway mileage is about 41 mpg using cruise control. Around town is about 32 mpg. Great acceleration, handles and rides well with no mechanical issues so far. I would recommend it.

Does it come with a free “CoExIst” sticker on the back?

What is a "real vehicle"?

I’d argue the only German manufacturer you can buy from with reasonable confidence it won’t end up in a continual repair loop is Porsche
That’s not been my experience for my 3 German cars. While 2 of my 3 Japanese cars have been in the shop in the last month for repairs.

Same company

Porsche and Volkswagen merged in 2011. At that time, Porsche was designated a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (interestingly, besides being the Porsche parent company, VW also owns Audi, Bugatti, and Lamborghini). So, from that standpoint, Volkswagen AG is the company who owns Porsche.

Why not just get a Tiguan?
Can those come with AWD and manual transmission?

Pretty dang cool. Red sucks for that vehicle though.

Are you a liberal woman with different color hair?
Do you have BLM and LGBTQ stickers?
Does your social media have “ally” stickers
If yes to those, then absolutely

I'm sure you posted that as a joke but Chrysler should have never stopped making the 4 wheel drive AMC Eagle wagon.

But very different cars and engineering.

Yes, but now I will blow your mind...Porsche owns Volkswagen.
