I took a dog to get neutered once, the dog developed an infection and I took it back to the vet. The vet prescribed some antibiotics and I took the dog home. That evening the dog died because the infection had spread. I brought back the medicine to the vet and all I got was a card that said, "Sorry for your loss."

It’s much healthier and safer to fix your animals if you aren’t going to breed them. Either do one or the other.

So pimp them out or cut off their balls? Those are the only two reasonable choices?

Remove only one testicle and place it in a glass jar on the mantel. When your dog misbehaves, just point to the jar.

Question. Would you chop your balls off to reduce the chance of having testicular cancer or will you take chances?

I never could do it when I had male dogs. I bought a male dog and I wanted to keep a male dog.

My chocolate lab is 1 yr old. I’m considering getting him neutered when he’s 2. Still haven’t decided for sure

Can we make it where people get spayed and neutered?

Reason to neuter:
1. less likely to get smashed by car when he bolts smelling dog in heat a mile away
2. less likely to lift leg when pissing if done early enough.
3. Less likely to get prostate enlargement
4. less likely to bite neighbor and get sued

30. less likely to get nut cancer

Reason not to:
1. Will bruise your fragile ego, he'll never know difference
2. U r cheap
3.Nuts too small to mount on truck
3. 3 yrs old too late to change behavior

We are dealing with this right now, my boy Rocky is 4 and has his nuts but he's a mean little shite and will piss on furniture.

Wife wants nuts gone so he'll stop marking, I say it will change his personality and turn him into a cat.

PS: I had mine cut

As evidenced by some of the replies in this thread, this is why the pounds and humane society’s are full up.

Don’t be a fricking idiot and get your animals spayed and neutered.
