I was against it but after 3 years of being fully potty trained my dog started marking his territory in the house so I got him fixed.

Do it. My friend has a pit with a bad overbite. (totally unsuitable for breeding) He refused and still refuses to neuter him, now he gets to wipe the blood off his arse and push this growth back in his a-hole every time he goes out to shite. Sometimes he still bleeds all over the place anyway.
