My neighbor has one and I think they look sharp. They definitely are bigger than what you would think a midsize truck should be. If it were me buying, i'd go ahead and get a full size but if it's for your stepson, I think it's about right and that's one helluva a gift.

You won't go wrong with a Canyon, Tacoma, or Colorado.

Tacoma's have fricking insane resale value though. One of the most durable vehicles on the market.

Why pay full size price and get full size gas mileage in a mid size truck?

Just buy a full size and be done with it.

I wouldn't buy my kid any new vehicle unless they're 40 or something. Odds are they are going to wreck it up a bit.

Ok well if I were to get a full size what would you recommend? The reason I looked at Canyon is because of best mpg.

I got a Canyon all terrain 2 weeks ago.

I love it so far. It drives like a car and is much easier to get around the city than a full size.

The bose stereo is pretty darn good too
