Yet another drive by video clip with zero context but if that dad was just disciplining some kids that were acting up then Id call him a good dad. Impossible to know based on the clip but it certainly isnt child abuse.

My sister and I use to get beat worse than that. It’s ok though. We turned out ok after my time incarcerated and alcohol abuse and my sister giving up dancing on the pole.

What do you think that kid did to deserve that? Short of murdering an entire family, I can’t think of any context that would make that understandable.

My ole poppa worked as a soybean farmer. Sometimes he would go out of Oakdale and work in Iowa, DeRidder and even Coushatta to take on odd jobs. He boxed in front of crowds of 30 for a night’s meal and board. He and my Uncle Vernon were tough as nails and it was because their daddy Big Banjo would beat them with a makeshift flat tractor tire and then make em do laps around the old soybean fields and sometimes into town to fetch milk. They didn’t give it to me as bad but I got three lashes from both with a thick leather belt. My older cousin even got me. That is what birthed the teller skretcher you pube sweats.
So I disciplined my three boys with some lashing but only 2 licks a piece if school was skipped or soybeans were unkept. I didn’t beat em except when they needed it. They spanked their kids and those kids Ended up doin that time out nonsense and taking away car keys. I never owned a car until I was 30.
So yep the softness of today people is killing this country. Those poon cats up in the northwest are prime example of what happens when spankings house away.

that was a little rough but even the judge advocate on the base said, if your kid is running to the street and you catch them a whack on the butt will teach them it is wrong and save them from running in front of a truck.

I would rather a spanking happen than giving a kid an ipad for every whimper.
I raised fine upstanding kids and they got spanked.
