Some groups of people can get away with defying the law while other groups can't. But you guys will be just fine if you open up for business.

How is it that a Louisiana Nursery is essential and a gym isn't?
Some rural area's people have to grow food and feed animals. People don't have to go to the gym to stay healthy. Walk around the block, do pushups in the living room, etc.
I'm in the open it all up camp but that's the thinking behind it.

Yeah. We reopened my wife’s business. It’s clear this thing is under control. We aren’t going to have a million people on ventilators
This is a really difficult situation. On the one hand, things only appear "under control" because we Americans have done a pretty damn good job of staying home, avoiding crowds, and all the other shitty things we've had to endure over the last month or two. On the other, it kills me to read these posts from SBOs whose livelihoods are being ruined.
Tough call for anyone in leadership. I lean toward opening with strict distancing and PPE protocol in place but I can understand why no doctor would willingly put their name on the line to say so. The last thing we need is for this shite to come back with a vengeance.

I own a small cleaning service, NO ONE is ready for me to return for fear that I may infect them, or carry the disease from one home to the next. When my automated reminder text went out by accident a few weeks ago, everyone freaked that got it. Unfortunately, I am closed and may continue to be closed due to a shortage of supplies.

I guess for construction trade to buy landscaping. It's been packed every time I pass, and by the number of Tahoes in the lot, I don't think it's construction shopping.

I am not sure they were doing well, to begin with, but I do believe they would have issues with customers returning once opened.

Those of you that own a “nonessential” small business, idk how you’re doing it
Many of them are doing business as usual (or at least as close to usual as possible) because . . . JBE did not order all non-essential small businesses to close.

I'll be going to the first one that opens in Ascension. Working out at home sucks.
