Yes, and my wife will have to wait until I die to get rid of the. Also, she isn’t allowed to use any if she suddenly “needs” one. Yes, I’m petty about it, she can order the cord she wanted to throw away. They are all my spares now.

I'm scared to get rid of them if I have them. I do need a power cord for an older laptop.

I've been using PCs since 1992 (Windows 3.0). I got rid of most of the old cables a couple of years ago, but I still have one or two of several of them. My husband needed a serial cable for an old monitor the other day, so my hoarding helped him. They're in a series of drawers in my office.
Thanks for posting that picture; I'd forgotten what a couple of the cables were for.

I have all of the bottom row and a mixture of other rows.

Don't have any of the apple/mac stuff.

I have thrown out almost all of my legacy cables, if I had to have one they are cheap and easy to find.

I keep:

modern phone cables

IEC320 power cables

48Gbps HDMI, I toss all the others to prevent confusion

Quality 50 ohm (audio) RCA cables

XLR cables

Speakon cables

Some USB cables

Ethernet patch cables

Wall warts and power supplies

Everything else gets tossed when I run across it.
