ToGo isn't going to pay the bills if you aren't fast food.

Everything is going to be Taco Bell a la Demolition Man after this.

There will be some cheap, ready-to-roll properties available soon. Someone will take up the banner.

Yeah this is fricked up for them. I'm going to try to get takeout more often at places that I frequent.

Fine dining and places that rely on alcohol sales will be the ones feeling it the most.

It will be the death of bad and mediocre restaurants that are effectively already in the decline prior to this.

Restaurants known for having an equilibrium of pricing and quality will survive.

Not if they have shite revenue for a few months and the owners don't have capital reserves.

Alabama is now allowing restaurants to sell alcoholic drinks in to-go orders. Local place posted on their FB last night that we can get booze to go with our meals. I think they'll be fine.

I'm ordering take out as much as i can while it's still an option. Saving the food at my house for emergency.

It's really going to be sad who all ends up closing. It's one thing for a major chain to have enough money to ride out the storm, but this is a killer for small sandwich shops and such. And the thing is, no matter what good intentions some people have in the political realm, a lot of money will be siphoned off for some dumb causes or useless programs, while the small businesses that definitely need cash to hang on, will be lost...

This actually works out well with the TP shortage. Just have to figure out how to use the shells...

I wouldn't be opposed to doing it on a more permanent basis.

Tiny restaurant.
