The hammer and sickle really should be as reviled as the swastika.

Stalin is the Thanos to Hitler's Ronan. The Soviets were always the long term enemy. The "Big Bad" so to speak.

Can you put this in adult terms for those of us who don’t watch little kid movies

To attain equality, you must kill the ones who are the brightest and the most independent thinkers.

He’s upset Hitler is vilified more than Stalin, he thinks it should be vice versa. I’ll let you decide what’s motivating that thought process.

If we're talking total body count, Stalin has superior numbers

It should be both.

Stalin had his citizens working to death in factories to churn out the war machine, on top of his murderous traits.

We should’ve never aided the Soviet Union. But Roosevelt, being a socialist piece of shite loved him some Uncle Joe.
Some cynical people might think FDR and Churchill used Soviet manpower and blood to tie down and butcher the greater part of German armed forces in the East so we and the British didn't have as many to deal with in Western Europe. It was fortunate for us that the war in the East was a blood feud between the Soviets and Nazis.

This doesn't mean he wasn't a socialist obviously. He was certainly a proto-globalist/socialist.

While that worked out for us in the short term, that alliance was a huge mistake. Either way, Germany was going to lose that war.

The alliance was beneficial because it helped us beat Germany and Japan.

Post WWII there's no way to say what would have happened if we had not allied ourselves against Russia.

If Germany won? If Russia had won without our alliance?

We can only guess what may or may not have happened under these alternative scenarios.
