This could possibly mean we’re in for a mild summer down here in SE LA. I sure hope so. I’m enjoying today very much.

How would a weekend in March determine the temperature for July and August?

I will be pissed if my citrus gets damaged. Have a great crop shaping up this year.

I'm kind of glad we got at least one last cool snap before swamp arse season. It will probably be November before we get another one.

Yeah, a week ago I was thinking about taking the boat out for the first trip to the Mississippi barrier islands this weekend.

Frickin' spotty rain, temps in the 40s- low 50s, gusts up to 30 mph and 3-5 ft seas.

I guess not. "Weather so nice" my butt.

The sleet events today were very unexpected, think I’ve seen it all now for St Pattys day besides snow.

Also, all the rain we got this winter could possibly mean a cat 5 hurricane in 2025.

I’d rather it be 75 and sunny but that’s just me

I put faucet covers back on.

I realize the average Louisiana man hates cool weather (homo weather) but I like it a helluva lot more than sweat like a whore in church summer temps.

Just spent 2 hours covering plants, moving them back into the greenhouse etc. Once the weather warms up and they come out of "dormant stage", cold weather kicks their arse.

I'll take 50 over 95 all day. It would be better if it was sunny though

That’s the thing that most don’t understand living up north like I did in Michigan. Yes the winters can be harsh, but they are prepared for it. And the spring is great as are the summers. In mid July the temp may hit 85 but it feels like 85. And as
A big football fan, when you start feeling the fall coming on, it’s just awesome. It’s really cool to drive along the highway and see all the white birch trees with all the different color leaves on them.

Only idiots think the weather 3 days in March has anything to do with the weather 3 months from now

Did the previous 3 weeks of above avg temps have anything to do with the temperatures this summer?
