It’s accurate for a lot of women. Both spouses have to work full time because they don’t want to settle for less, they have kids and the husband thinks the wife should do everything his mommy did when he was growing up. Even though the situation is completely different for his wife.

So the wife works full time and has the bulk of the duties managing the household and kids.

Happens more often than many think.

They have the inside lanes. They’re running a shorter race. What else do they want?

In 1970, that was pretty true.

It has not been true since about that time

You're wrong about the year. It started getting better in the 80s. Change doesn't happen quickly. In 1973 the bank would not count any of my mom's income for their home loan because "she will just quit working when she gets pregnant."

There’s a missing lane. The WFH dad who does all the things in the left three lanes and more.

I think this is overstating it, I'm seeing more and more households where the men are handling more of the inside chores while also doing more and more of the outside chores.

We live in this weird world now where people just ignore lawn care, weeding, house DIY projects, and all of that other shite and focus only on the chores that are traditional female. It's asinine.

Pretty disrespectful to the dads like me-raising 4 kids by myself and still running the businesses and the household.

Women crave victimhood.

Men are rewarded on bravery, women by their cowardice.

Right! I take care of myself and manage my kids. I don't need anyone to do that for me.

Helluva lot easier to do housework and mealplan at your leisure while watching your stories or hanging out on FB all day instead of going to work.

A lot of women I know would be thrilled to make that deal.

If they were more attractive they wouldn't have to run at all.

That's what I like about being single...

I don't have to cash my clothes.. ever... I just wear dirty stinky clothing all the time.

I also don't have to cook or go grocery shopping for myself.

Being single does have it's advantages.

That’s my household too.

I didn’t say it’s happening in every home but it does happen enough to mention it and I’ve personally witnessed a good bit of it myself with my staff over the years.

There’s plenty of lazy women that ride their husbands coattails too though.

Very few men don't do their own laundry and cooking nowadays. Plus they're doing the yardwork as well. It ain't the freakin 1950s anymore.

Tell her to start an Only Fans and she'll be able to afford a maid to clean and do laundry.
