Meaning, I don't care how pretty or dressed up something is, it doesn't change what's inside.

It's bs. Organizers and cops agreed to NO BEING IN THE STREETS. She broke the agreement ... she got arrested. Too bad.

Serious question someone help me out, I may be wrong but from what I have heard protests now have been largely nonviolent and somewhat peaceful.
Do you give this lady and everyone else any credit?
2 years ago Ferguson basically became a warground. Looks like protesters wisened up and realized how stupid that was, and that it even worsend their cause(however misguided it may be)

I give her credit for being a calm "protester". I give her credit for not resisting arrest.
But she broke the agreement ... she didn't do what the organizers agreed to. She got "arrested" and for that I give the cops the credit.

probably last longer than you and a lot of others

Anyone that has stepped out of line even a little bit has been snatched up with a quickness, so it probably has a lot to do with the way LSP/BRPD and the other agencies have handled it also.

The NAACP was complaining about the amount of arrests that were being made for breaking the law

About how I figured it would look.
Obviously stood there waiting for the photo op planning to get arrested.
Setup for a hand slap on the wrist arrest and photo. Why else is a model from nowhere near BR in town dressed up and not even sweating on one of the hottest days of the year in Louisiana?

Fixed it. Just deleted the middle paragraph as it is irrelevant to the real message that the photo promotes.
{Look at how she is demonstrating to the thug culture how to respond to police. She is balanced, powerful, upright and well grounded with both feet firmly planted on the earth. Look at the line made from the crown of her head to the heels of her feet. She is only protected by the force of her own common sense and lack of primitive and animalistic behavior when confronting cops.
This is a legendary picture. It will be in history and art books from this time as a common sense approach as to how not to get yourself killed in an encounter with law enforcement.}

No.
She knowingly and willingly broke the law over pointless protests.
