80 degrees the day after Christmas can suck my balls. Looking ahead it looks like we hit 53 one day but pretty much stay with the highs near 70 for the next few weeks.

Last year was like this too. It's bizarre. Amost like human emissions of greenhouse gasses are causing the surface temperature of the Earth to become warmer and altering the global climate systems or something.

You are in Louisiana. Winter doesn't exist there, any year. At worst you get two weeks of cold, followed by summer.

People who believe they can feel global warming year to year, or even decade to decade (NASA says 0.17 degrees per decade), are exactly why global warming zealots are a laughing stock.

Not true. We get winter here. It's fall that Louisiana completely bypasses.

We usually go from summer to lite summer to winter for about a month or two and then spring. OP is right. This weather sucks.

It was 9F in Memphis just like ten days ago.

Come back in March, not the day after Christmas, dummy.

Winter doesn't start until February nowadays.

They need to roll the calendar back about 3 mos so the weather can sync back up.

You get what you think is winter. I used to think that too. Then I moved to the northeast and got a dose of reality.

It's like when people here complain about the heat during the summer. I laugh and tell them they have no idea what hot truly is.

Not true. I remember very cold winters during my childhood. Many mornings spent paddling through ice going duck hunting. Even the occasional snow

Good. I hate cold weather.

(Although I will allow cool evenings during non-spring/summer months.)

Been a typical winter here in Scottsdale.

We've had cold days and not so cold days.

Winter storm blew in and dropped a ton of snow in northern AZ this past weekend.

You want a true cold winter....move someplace that gets a true cold winter. Louisiana is not one of those places.
