New Trader - 15 signs you moved from middle class

How many do you have? I got maybe 2 so OT poors

quote:

15 Signs You’ve Moved Past Middle Class:

1. Asset Diversification: You have multiple streams of income and a diversified investment portfolio.

2. Passive Income: Most of your income comes from investments, assets, or a business rather than a salaried job.

3. Education for Children: You can easily afford private schooling or higher education for your children without financial strain.

4. Healthcare: You have access to premium healthcare services and can afford elective procedures.

5. Vacations: You take multiple breaks a year, possibly to international destinations, without worrying about the cost.

6. Networking: You have connections with influential people in your industry or other sectors.

7. Home Ownership: You own your home, possibly multiple homes or properties, not just your primary residence.

8. Tax Planning: You have a tax strategist or financial advisor to optimize wealth.

9. Charitable Giving: You make significant philanthropic contributions, either in time, money, or both.

10. Leisure Activities: You engage in high-cost hobbies or leisure activities without concern for the expense.

11. No Debt: You have little to no consumer debt and a robust credit score.

12. Retirement Planning: You’re not just saving for retirement; you’re actively planning for wealth transfer.

13. Time Flexibility: You can choose how you spend your time rather than being tied to a 9-5 job.

14. Personal Services: You can afford personal services like a housekeeper, private chef, or personal trainer.

15. Limited Budgeting Requirements: Daily expenses and budgeting are relatively low compared to your income or net worth.

All I have is 11. Since I divorced the debt machine 5 years ago, I’m good.

I imagine there are a lot of people (couples) in the top 5% and 10% of income earners that don’t have a majority of these. Those thresholds should be well beyond the middle class.

7 and 11. Trust me, still middle class in SE Louisiana. I’m okay with that.

So you mean a successful business owner or investor. Even your executives have to show up to work regularly.

Lots of us have this one. Our private schools aren’t crazy expensive though so I guess it doesn’t mean much

Your hunting camp is a house instead of a single wide.

You start going to the church where all the rich folks in your town go.

Your ole lady can afford ozempic.

Those are more like “when you know you have made it to the 1% and are ready for retirement.”
