A picture of your boyfriend getting out of his car is not proof that cargo shorts are making a comeback.

Those are the OPs hubcaps in the reflection of the door.

Wallet. Kouzie in the back. Phone and Keyes in the front. A lot of times there's extra shite. Going out in the evening? A case for my sunglasses would be nice so they don't break. Gonna be gone a while? External phon charger.

I have never been in a predicament where I'm walking out the door thinking to myself, "case for sunglasses once it get's dark.....check. Phone charger for when I need that extra charge because I'll apparently be gone for more than 12 hours.....check. Koozie, because I will of course be spontaneously drinking beer at any time.....check." If I need that much shite, just as soon pack a damned bag.

And I used to bring a koozie to the bar in college. Slipped right in my back pocket.

I currently carry two phones (work), keys, and a billfold wallet all in my front pockets. I have NEVER come CLOSE to needing cargo shorts.

So the 4 pockets in regular shorts isn't enough?

Even if you need the extra pockets, my question becomes what do you do when you're wearing jeans? Carpenter or cargo jeans?

That seems a little unnecessary and incredibly uncomfortable.

Wallet, flask, knife, keys, moneyclip ($10 on the outside of the roll), coozie, CC Permit w/ the gold badge dealie...

No way 4 pockets is enough...

Define "regular shorts"
And I like to put it in a pocket that I can close up so it doesn't fall out. They have one right under my left pocket that has Velcro. And my knife fits perfect

If the police ever search you, cargo shorts give you a chance to win that war of attrition.

Why would you ever need your concealed permit and drinking paraphernalia at the same time?

I can't stand sitting on something like my wallet. I literally only carry my house key and car key (any other keys will stay in the car if needed). Only thing I put in my back pocket is a pocket knife if I think I'll need it, or something small and flat.

Only cargo shorts I would wear are something like these.

Those actually don't look bad. I don't like cargo shorts because they are so baggy and long.

I'd hardly call it subtle

But no it wasn't. It was to prove a point

My favorite thing on this board is when people try to justify their trashy arse cargo shorts. I somehow manage to carry my keys, phone, pocket knife, and wallet without looking like a 12 year old boy at summer camp.
