Kyle Rittenhouse trial was less than a year ago and you've already forgotten that lesson?

I know LA is slightly different, but in the 'Sip, prosecutions, enforcement of the law. etc, is local. A few years ago a white deputy (from a predominantly white county) chased black suspects into a predominately black county, he fired a few rounds (didn't hit the suspects), he was prosecuted/convicted in the black county and did time.

The DA is about to use the weight of the government to put the good guy in jail for the next few decades

Nope. Different circumstances altogether. If this is a legal gun and the basic facts show an attempted carjacking, I’ll bet my life this guy ain’t charged.

Contrary to what people may think, THAT would not be politically popular AT ALL in New Orleans. Even most of the awful democrat voters aren’t happy with this shite.

Nah. People misunderstand the dynamics of New Orleans - it’s understandably so because they are so awful in so many ways.

He can't...

Listening to the story it seems as if the guy wasn't in the car. Does that matter? (serious question)

You're under the impression that the rule of law matters to Democrats and leftists.

Had a gun pointed at him though. Self defense. Does give some room for potential frickery by scum DA though.

Was expecting video of a moving van leaving the city.

But what you posted will do just fine as well.

Of course Nola.com refers to the 17 year old carjacker as a “boy” to try to invoke sympathy.
