It's 31 in Dallas feels like 20 per weather app
Like I said...it's been hottest summer in history starting in March....and just ended first or second week of November in DFW.
That's what I'm talking about. I'm pissed I don't get my lovely fall weather. Summer & Winter & that's it...it blows.... Rant over

Well here in Louisiana at this time of the year, one will see all 4 seasons in a weeks time.

SW Missouri had the longest Fall I've ever experienced.
Beautiful fall weather started in late September and end literally last night.
The Japanese maple in the courtyard in front of my house still has ALL it's leaves and their still a beautiful red color!
Last evening it got really cold and we received a very light dusting of snow.
But we've had 50 - 70 degree weather from late September to December. It's been an AWESOME year from a seasonal point of view.

Early next week it will be 70 during the day and 55 at night. Near Perfect weather IMO

Yes, yes it is....became accustomed to my 7 weeks of Cali weather we used to get.
Most of the peeps in this thread are having lucky seasons & good 4 y'all I mean it.
DFW has had shitty luck past 2 years weather wise

followed by 10 days of fall weather....now it's already 31 degrees/ 20 wind chill.
And it's not even officially winter yet.

I'll trade you. 20 degrees and freezing fog. Good times.

I don't think we ever have a "true fall". There will be several days that we get fall like weather, but it seems like there is no in between. You are either running the AC or the heater.

Come on up to NH: dry, mild Summers, mild Springs, pretty, color-soaked Falls, but 5 (five) months of ice, snow, wind, darkness, and sub-zero Winter.

I think you're exaggerating a bit. It's been pretty nice actually... we had about 6 straight weekends of perfect weather.

FYI a low of 31 degrees is considered fall weather outside of the South...

My neighbor back in Auburn told me that he's miserable when it's cold in the South.
He spent fifteen years in Madison, WI.
The way he put it - "Cold weather here chills me to the bone, and there's nothing I can do about it unless I go inside."

Oxford has a nice fall.
Dallas it goes straight from summer to winter.

Sounds like living in the South sucks.

I live in Dallas, and Dallas isn't a part of the proper South. Yes falls are shite here, but drive past Texarkana, and then you immediately start to see an impressive fall directly east of you.

Yep. Turned on the heater for the first time last night.

Yea. I think it's the sharp spike that makes it feel more harsh.
73 degrees and breezy is nice no matter who you are, and we used to have that in DFW every October like clockwork..
