Dude, I think everyone knew oil prices would surge even before Ukraine. That's why I invested in NRGU.

And not one mfering gallon of gas you buy over the next two weeks cost one cent more to make etc.

This is pure arse price gouging. I remember 30 years ago he econ professor explained it like this.

As soon as gas station owners find out that gas is going to be more expensive they raise the prices on the pumps even though the gas and their storage tanks has not increased in price one fricking penny. When gas prices have sudden decreases, they don’t do the same thing.

this is exactly why I buy all my gas at Costco or Sam’s. They don’t do that stupid shite. I am paying cost plus their percentage that’s it. Right now their gas is about $.30 cheaper than the rest of fricking mobile

what a gripe. you don't think they will pay more for the next tank? It's a little exploit, who cares. They risked opening that business to sell you gas for convenience. They have costs going up too. Sounds like you already found a solution at Costco and Sams. Don't hate on the little guys.

Do they pay on delivery or after it’s used? If they anticipate high prices on their next order, don’t they need to charge more up front so they can pay for the next order?

That is insane.

I remember when Jimmy was president you'd be lucky to be able to buy gas at any price.

We're heading there again.

I paid 4.19. I saw that it was 3.69 down the road yesterday but I figured they’d raised it by now and said frick it and paid 4.19. It was still 3.69. For years I never paid more than 20 bucks to fill my Accent, paid 29 and I was still quite a ways from empty. CSB

Can we settle the BBL issue once and for all? When it's 50 bbl, the OT complains. At 100 bbl, the same Louisiana guys complain.

There’s some reality to that. 75-80 everybody is making money. We can drill and us production guys can have steak twice a week.

And I don't think anyone would complain about $2.50/gallon of gas. Everybody wins and makes bank.

The people who voted for what we have now aren't buying much gas already.

People will curb some activities and reduce consumption at $4/gal plus. Happened then, will happen again.

However, this price crisis is self inflicted by policy decisions that guarantee price escalation.

Oh yeah, that “housing boom” is gonna screech to a fricking halt when price per square foot goes up 10-20% overnight on an already inflated state.

What happens to all those developers then? Hello 2008.

I’m more partial to the $1.90 or $2.25 range myself.

But yes, if there is a number that keeps US exploration and production profitable and allows us to be net exporters that’s the right number.

We had it just a few years ago under a recent President.

Let me know the next time pump prices plummet overnight after oil has a bad day on the market.
