Just think of all the dumb shite we did as kids without the reward of internet clout.

One problem: most of the people in those videos aren't kids.

True, but I watched my dad, his buddies, my uncles, etc. do some dumb shite too.

I do think the whole viral thing makes the dumb shite more dumb.

I had to draw blood from a beautiful blonde twelve year old girl that had simply fallen backwards off the side of a pickup truck. Hit on her head, forcing the bottom of her cerebellum into her spinal cord. She was brain dead and they were keeping her "alive" for organ transplants. One of the prettiest little girls I've ever seen. When I stuck her arm it was like sticking a needle in a tube of bologna. No reaction, no nothing....fricking sad. I coached little league baseball then and vowed never even start my truck unless the kids had their rear ends on the bottom of the bed. back then it wasn't against the law for people to be in bed of truck.

So, I don't approve of the crate challenge stuff (in case you were wondering).

Man I looked everywhere within a 50 mile radius of my house for some milk crates for storage in my shop a few years ago. I found a grand total of 5 that people were willing to let go of. Where the frick are all these damn crates coming from?

Why? It’s inherently unsafe and basically designed to cripple and maim you, or worse.

I wanted to post this on here but i didn't feel like gathering all the videos.

I go from laughing at the videos, to really feeling bad for some of the people involved. Its one thing to see young people do stupid things. It's another when you see folks who look like they're in their 50/60s, or some potentially homeless.

They're supposed to be a lil cash payout if you cross without falling. Im just pretty sure that $100 they trying to win is not about to offset their medical fees once they've fractured a bone in their face, or completely fricked up their back etc.

I have a pretty dark humor I think. But it's hard to laugh when I see someone fall down on their face/neck from 20 ft up in the air.
