Hold on, I read it as they are listed by where they are standing. Example, Girls Aloud…
2, 4, 3, 1, 5
I’d most like to bang the chick in green, second would be the chick in black, third would be the one in blue, fourth would be the one in pink, and fifth would be the one in tan.

Some people want you to put the position in the order of your most desired. Their ranking would be (using your preferences) would be 4,1,3,2,5 and I hate it. I like your method.
