I used to think the song title was

Up until a few years ago I pronounced Ochsner like "Osh-ner". Dang Germans.

Also, sometimes I'd think that infrared is not "infra-red", but "in-frared"...as if "frared" rhymes with "flared". Derp.

Throughout middle school I though Silicon Valley got its name due to the of the prevalence of plastic surgery in Cali (or at least my perception of it) and the usage of silicone used in boob jobs and other plastic surgeries.

I thought dogs reproduced through anal sex ("doggy style") until I was a senior in high school

I also thought San Antonio was in California until about the same time..

haha i was singing that the other day and my coworker had to tell me it is revved up like a duece. Damn i was disappoint.

Original lyrics were actually "cut loose like a duece." Springsteen was the writer and original performer of the song.

Didn't realize until I was about 11 or 12 that Iowa started with an I instead of an L. All the maps on the walls in school always left off the horizontal lines on the I and teachers never corrected me

Fishing buddy of mine in HS, really smart dude who is now in med school, thought there was a unit of weight pronounced "Lib". That looks like a 7 lib catfish. I've got 12 lib test line on my reel.

I thought the van Halen song lyric was "maxwell jump" vs might as well jump.

The first three times I used the word facade I pronounced it
Fa 'kade until my sister corrected me...
