I live in Winston-Salem (don't forget the 'Dash' or you might not leave here alive). If you like beer there's Foothills Brewery, Small Batch Brewery and Hoots Brewery. Most restaurants are on 4th St or Trade St. Old Salem is beautiful in the fall. Mast General Store just moved into town. It's a popular destination with other locations in Asheville, Boone, Knoxville and Greenville SC.
