I’ll be up there this summer. I have places to stay and some things to do...Space Needle, M’s game, Pike Place Market.

I’m just curious if the OT has anything that is absolutely can’t miss along the Seattle/Vancouver corridor. I also am looking at doing one of the underground Seattle tours. I’d go to the travel board, but it’s not nearly as active as this place.

Kind of hokey but still fun. Make sure you do the "adult" tour so you learn about the drugs and hookers.

FYI.....He is talking about taking a Seaplane (Kenmore Air) from South Lake Union to Victoria on Vancouver Island and taking the Victoria Clipper back to Seattle.

I'd say go to Victoria but ride a BC ferry back to Vancouver.

shite baw. What do you like to do?

The guides for the underground Seattle tour are usually real funny. The guide will make the tour for you.

Do the touristy stuff, hit up a dispensary, if you have time a trip to Victoria could be fun, some easy day hikes in the cascades just an hour east of Seattle. Hopefully by summer you mean after 4th of July weekend. That’s typically when the 90 days of sunshine starts...

Vancouver is an unbelievable city. It was in the 50's back in June when I went.

And Pike Place Market is all right but it's crowded as hell and at the end of the day it's just a big market.

Jimi Hendrix museum. If you like horse racing, both cities have tracks. If you have time, take a ferry to the islands. And...travel board?

Go to the Museum of History and Industry. Go eat at Lost Lakes Cafe in Capitol Hill. Go to The Lookout Bar, also in Capitol Hill. Go to Alki Beach if you are here on one of the days it gets hot, which has been happening more frequently since I moved. Go hiking and then go to the diner in North Bend which served as the inspiration for the diner in Twin Peaks. I think where we went to was Snow Lake.

Also go to the Ballard locks and then walk to Discovery Park. Pretty as heck on a summers day.

Go to Dicks Drive In and get a burger. The other day I was downtown and I tried this new ice cream place called Shugs which was pretty good. There is this shawarma place in the University District called Shawarma King that is good. UW has good views of Rainier too.

Avoid driving on the interstates between 3-6, as the evening rush hour is always way worse for me than the morning.

I don't know if you can go southward, but there is this bonsai garden thing in Federal Way that's just lovely.
