This is complete and utter nonsense; Canadians, Germans, Kiwis, Scandinavians and Brit's would all kindly disagree and Canadians have even testified to our congress that your statement is BS. What your saying may apply on a small scale for specialized treatment for things like cancer or ALS, but what about those without the means? Should they be left to die from things like pneumonia
Lol. No this is complete and utter nonsense. I don’t even know where to start. Yes. Many of those would agree with me.
Oddly enough, it’s less the patients with deadly and emergent conditions like those you described who would complain and more likely the patients with run-of-the-mill, easily treatable conditions who would complain because they have to wait a year to see a dermatologist about their acne or in Canada can’t see a specialist at all until they have a referral from a primary care doctor, of which there is a tremendous shortage and no incentive for those existing to take new patients. If you’re dying they’ll take care of you, but you best be dying!
“Free” healthcare for all is a utopian dream for simpletons. It doesn’t exist.
I’m not even defending our current state of affairs in America. It needs dramatic improvement. But inferring that the federal government can deliver a better product at a lower price is hilarious - that has never been the case ever in human history.
Nobody in the US is dying on the streets of pneumonia with rich doctors watching them and snickering in the corner at that pathetic loser. That is liberal fantasy.

Let's hear this logic... I'd think an easy out in the lineup would speed up baseball

It’s not nonsense. Take Switzerland for example. Public medicine in Switzerland is top 1% in world. Those with means still choose private. Now could the US replicate Switzerland public system if it wanted to? No.
