I'll entertain you. In your opinion, just which generation has most contributed to current worldwide innovation, safety, travel and economy?

But boomers continue to dog walk Xers in every important aspect of life despite being past their prime and millennials will carry the torch. Xers are silent gen 2.0. Largely irrelevant

Too funny. Nearly exactly like my childhood.
Some adds:
- started cutting grass at 8yo
- movies/stores on bike alone w/friends 10yo
- slept at buddy’s house, even if his older siblings were in / past puberty.
Some luck:
- little league football coaches held water from us in hot S LA heat for 2 hrs.
- predatory priests were still hidden well
- the “weird” adult neighbor who wanted to be blood brothers with all the boys in the neighborhood was invited to bbq’s.

Not really. Despite being a much smaller generation numbers wise as compared to the ones before and after and despite going through 2 major crashes during what should have been our economic coming of age years, we still hold over 25% of the nation's wealth. Boomers hold just about 1/2 of that wealth, but that is expected since they are nearing the end of their run. Will Xers ever hold 1/2 like Boomers do now? Maybe, but most likely not. The numbers game works against us. But on personal wealth held, we are projected to surpass Boomers at the end of the day.
