Things that have improved over time

There are lots of things that have improved over time--computers for example.
My choice: lesbian porn. It seems to me there have been tremendous advances in lesbian porn, especially in the physical attributes of the performers. Today, we're seeing more beautiful girls doing more outrageous stuff--and of course, HD has tremendously enhanced the viewing experience.
So ... name one thing you're aware of that has improved over the years--preferably something that has importance in your life.

Back when there was such a thing. Back when people cared about the customers experience and would hire the best looking people to be the face that customers saw first. Then all the SJW went crazy and we have fat gay flight attendants and old dudes as bank tellers.
