Thief made rounds last night in my neighborhood & surrounding areas

If any of yall live in the Prairieville area, Moody Dixon/ Henderson Bayou area in particular. Just a little heads up, there was a string of car burglaries in Henderson Bayou Estates and a few places off of Moody Dixon. So far they hit 6 just in my neighborhood alone. I was fortunate enough not to have anything stolen. Thank God. One homeowner caught him on camera but the only description they could give was that he was a taller male with his face covered.

agreed, the POS was brave though there are a few cops that live in the neighborhood. One is right across from me, apparently just a few houses down the fricker took the hitch off a truck and busted the window out of a car and took a pistol that was in the car

Im fairly close to that area... we get hit 2-3 times a month

Get a video surveillance system with infrared cameras and put them in places where the red lights are visable from the road. My neighbors have been hit twice and the theives passed my house up.

If you see them, don't confront. Just call the cops. Three pieces of shite were doing the same in the Hoover subdivision of Lake Cyrus last month. A 32 year old guy, who had small children, was leaving early to work out and the scum killed him at his front door.

its been a problem in Ascension parish for a few years
Dutchtown area used to the be hotspot, but it seems theyve moved on to a small area in Prairieville.
Theyve been hitting the Galvez area hard according to Facebook

The big ? is why in the frick would you leave a pistol in your car. Take it in at night.
I had this happen to me in Dinky Springs. First mistake was calling 911 to report the incident. Then Dinky springs cops came to the neighborhood as the Thief's was pulling out the neighborhood.
