"They" want us in electric cars so they can turn them off at any time.

I keep hearing this. That the people in the government going for the Great Reset that want control over our lives want us in electric cars so they can limit our travel or if we have not scored high enough on our ESG score they can simply turn off our cars.
Why can't this be done with new ICE cars? And why can't your regular OT baw bypass the electrical switches in the electric cars?

It can be. GM has been using OnStar to disable cars in pursuits for years.

No one is trying to limit travel. There is a lot of money made from people traveling. Find the money supply and you find the motives.

it can be done with ICE cars the same as electric cars. The manufacturer would just need to design it that way. As long as the car as a connection to the internet, I am sure it can be controlled remotely if they truly wanted to.
Many modern cars can have their ECUs firmware upgraded over the air.

people tweeted at Elon to shut down Russian Teslas. he said no.
not that i think he would by any means, but the fact that anybody even asked the question is pretty damning. it wasn't like they said "hey turn off all of Russian officials Teslas to make a point." They asked for ALL of Russia's teslas to be turned off.

I got this from listening to a short clip of Andrew Tate talking about the Great Reset and him saying that this is why they want you in electric cars...to control your travel.

yes just a couple of people want to use Big Government or Tech to eliminate their political opponents. it was just a few people tweeting as Musk to shut down cars.
the fact that those people aren't publicly shamed and in hiding right now is pretty telling.
it just starts with "that's just some fringe voice. nobody believes it."
it also just started with gay marriage (not that there's anything wrong with that.) we've moved a bit beyond two consenting adults.
