They released the guidelines for the dorms at LSU

Complete disaster waiting to happen

Residents must wear a face covering whenever in a public area within a Residential Life community. - Public area is defined as any location outside of the doorway to the individual residence hall room, suite room, and/or apartment. More specifically, the door that displays the room/suite/apartment number. Guests are permitted in accordance with the following: - Guests are defined as any individual who is not a contracted resident of the specific residence hall, suite, apartment, or room in question. - Phase 1 - No guests/visitation within Residential Life communities - Phase 2 - No guests/visitation within Residential Life communities - Phase 3 - Limited guests/visitation within Residential Life communities - One guest per resident. - Guests must always be escorted by host resident within the community. - Guests are limited to current Residential Life residents. - Visitation hours are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. - No overnight guests. - Phase 4 - Limited guests/visitation within Residential Life communities - One guest per resident. - Guests must always be escorted by host resident within the community. - Guests who are not current residents must check-in and check-out via the community front desk. - Visitation hours are 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM on weekdays and until 3:00 AM on weekends. - No overnight guests. - Normal - Return to standard Residential Life guest and guest visitation policy on pages 14-15. Residents that exhibit any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or that have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 must contact a medical provider within one (1) business day and self-quarantine. - Self-quarantine means not going into the public and/or interacting with other people. - Resident must inform their community’s Residence Coordinator (RC) that they are going into self-quarantine. If a resident’s health provider has confirmed or suspects that they have COVID-19: - Resident must notify their community’s RC via telephone that they are either in need of accommodations to isolate or that they are leaving campus to isolate. - If the resident would like to report these findings to LSU, please send an email to reportcovid@lsu.edu. Residents must disclose all travel per policies set forth by the LSU EOC, lsu.edu/coronavirus. Residents in isolation or quarantine will not be allowed to return to their normal on-campus assignment until released by their medical provider or appropriate medical authority. - Resident must notify their community’s RC via telephone prior to returning

The guidelines should be as follows:

Do what you want, you’re an adult and not really in any danger from big bad COVID.

If you’re sick, don’t be an a-hole.

I mean if coeds can’t get together to share some diseases in dorm rooms then what even is college?

Oh their going to send them home within two weeks. If your exposed to Covid self quarantine for two weeks ok so if one person gets it Everone has technically be exposed

This world is a complete clown show.

The flu is bad too but nobody fears the flu. “Oh, if I get it, it’ll just suck for a few days.” Nobody thinks much more of it than that. Covid is very similar to the flu in most people. Covid will get to that point as soon as the media and deep state stop using it as a control tactic.

Yeah, I don't see college kids following any of that past mid terms....at best.

I mean, my RA was my bud dealer at West Laville. I think they’re pretty connected with their dorm.

I would highly recommend finding an apartment for your kid and skipping the dorms altogether.

LSU isn't requiring people live in dorms as freshman this year are they? Because eff that.
