Foghorn wasn't my favorite cartoon as a kid, but watching my grown arse dad almost crying laughing every episode was always a treat

If they played Foghorn leghorn, speedy Gonzales, and Yosemite Sam (shooting guns) today, people heads would explode.

Those were the GOAT cartoons

Jonny Quest is the GOAT cartoon. I bought the dvds and watched with my son. So many memorable episodes.

When my sons were little, I'd put on the "Curse of Anubis" (the mummy) music and chase them as Anubis.

I was a kid in the 50's and part of the 60's and those cartoons were great entertainment. Hanna-Barbera, Looney Tunes, Mighty Mouse, Popeye, Felix The Cat and the bunches of 1/2 hour shows like The Flintstones, Jetsons, etc. were great to watch.

I find a lot of the animation has regressed in much of what passes for cartoons today and it's not as finely detailed in the action sequences but very herky-jerky.
