A new exploding star in the sky
An erupting white dwarf in the constellation Cassiopeia should be visible with binoculars or small telescopes on a dark night.
There’s a brilliant new light shining in the constellation Cassiopeia, which pinpoints the spot where a star exploded into a radiant nova. This stellar eruption is so bright that it can be spotted with a small backyard telescope or even a pair of binoculars on a dark night.

Apart from your mom at the end of your gif, it always overwhelms my mind to think about how we're just a microspeck in relation to the size of universe and beyond. All of man's accomplishments on earth are the tiniest bit of nothingness.

Yeah, I wonder how many years ago that thing actually exploded if we are now seeing the explosion. That star is a long way from earth.
