Always tell drug and equipment reps. Their scrubs are pressed and spotless.

Wait...aren't you a resident?

That guy in scrubs more than likely sells a very specialized tool or implant and it's very likely he's making 10x's what your broke arse is making.

true, you better get used to it. thanks to Obama he is now superior to you in every professional way.

I wouldn't worry about it though. He'll be upgrading to netjets soon.

Why the hell does everything in the Nola airport close at 8? I want a damn drink

Because I easily make 6 figures on a down year ! U mad??

"Six figures" is pretty much a guarantee that you don't make more than 200,000, so no. I'm not mad.

Wait, not all drug reps are hot blondes?

What about being a "him" precludes this rep from being a hot blonde?

Other than my first year, I made well over 200k. My best year I hit 750k. I'm no longer in that field and make less than half of that now but to say 200 is tops is not necessarily the case.

With that said, my territory was big and consisted of a good portion of Florida. FL > LA

I agree with you. I know a rep that only sells one or two products to 2-3 dr's and he's pretty much started his own company based off of this one dr. Now he has 3 reps working for him pushing the same product just between la and ms. He is easily taking home $1m a year.

Probably the reason most of us former drug reps are former, 80% got downsized like a bitch. :(

And to the poster who said it's not about being hot any longer, it's about relationships and longevity is way off, nowadays the number one hiring priority is being cheap.

Those of us with 10+ years in a territory can't even get a phone screen - we are are older and wiser than 95% of the hiring managers now and they don't want someone with more real world experience not fitting in with their "management style and company culture" and they won't look at us because we won't go peddle their shitty "me too" drugs and schlepp around stinky lunches for $50K a year.

The perfect candidate for them is a fresh out of college or less than 25 year old who thinks $50K a year with a company car and gas and insurance paid for makes them a baller.

And, yes, yes I'm bitter that I have 17 years of now worthless experience.

Wearing them outside of the hospital or office defeats part of the purpose you wear scrubs in the first place. Wearing them in the airport seems like a horrible idea if he just came from a hospital.
