Aside from the shitty ground floor businesses the facade of the building was pretty was pretty nice.

TBH that stretch of Canal probably benefits, maybe if this block becomes nice the State Palace people will get a move on with their property.

yeah just got to my building about a block towards poydras from the fire, kinda hard to tell if its smoke in the air or fog or mist or what, probably a mixture. but man it smells like shite. they have the ventilation for our building turned off.

I'm closer to New Orleans than Houma and I didn't smell it when I left the house this AM.
