After that happened in 1989 February of 2021 was probably the longest coldest lunch Louisiana got since then. It didn’t get as cold in Baton Rouge as 1989 but it certainly did in North La. We stayed below freezing for 7 days.

I was one of them. It wasn't snow, per se, but more ice. Lost a shed and no power for 6 days. That week did suck. It wasn't normal. I still like cooler weather.

Was 45, Grey and rainy all day here in Shreveport....and I loved every second of it. Worked w my window open, stood outside when I could....I was so tired and pissed at the heat!
