Not even for the novelty of it? I mean the last person alive from the 1800's? What a story to tell your great grandkids at the turn of the next century.

That's got to be incredible to be able to look back on that many memories literally across multiple generations. I mean it was a completely different world in the 1800s.

Not even close to as old, but my GF's grandad died at like 103 a few years ago. He was old enough to have an adult son killed in the Korean War, which just blew my mind.
