A cluster of earthquakes shook a secretive Navy base in the Mojave Desert on Thursday afternoon and before dawn Friday, geologists say.
Numerous small quakes hit in and around the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Five of the quakes were higher than 2.5 magnitude between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 a.m. Friday in Ridgecrest, the USGS said.
The base, deep in the California desert near Death Valley National Park, is where the Navy develops and tests its newest weapons.

How deep were the quakes?

Were they quakes or just underground explosions?

Tesla invented an earthquake machine back in the 20s. This is probably just the military testing something underground.

Eventually, the earthquake machine will go awry. Earthquakes will hit relentlessly worldwide, steadily increasing in intensity and causing volcanic eruptions, landslides and tsunami, and the only solution will be to nuke the fault lines.

It’s been a while but the last earthquake I had was at the Swensons in Monroe. Think it was on 165. Not sure but man the place would go nuts.

Tenta won an athletic scholarship to Louisiana State University (LSU), where he competed in NCAA-level collegiate wrestling.[6] At LSU he was nicknamed "Big John" Tenta, lettering on the Tiger varsity wrestling team and participating on the football team. LSU dropped varsity wrestling to comply with Title IX in 1985, forcing Tenta to choose a new sport. Tenta then walked on to the LSU football team, where he played in some junior varsity games as a defensive lineman. He was also known as a "quiet giant" while employed as a bouncer at an LSU college bar, The Bengal. Tenta also played rugby union for the LSU Rugby Club.
