It is the tech jobs. They attract intervorts. I love Seattle. It is green like the Gulf Coast, but has mountains.

I agree with this completely. I was surprised at how cold people were here.

IDK. But offer to move them to states with less then 10% AA population. Job training, and an opportunity to move from the third world areas they are in. It would be a net positive for everyone.

The tech culture has exacerbated it but Seattle locals have had the aloof reputation for a long time.

I've worked in IT for almost 20 years and it absolutely does. We did a Myers Briggs test once and all but one person in my department was an introvert

Louisiana could easily diversify Portland, New Hampshire, Vermont and San Fran.

Just 30% of the state’s population has received a college education

That is remarkable, given how many colleges are in the state.

Lack of jobs = the graduates leave.

There are more LSU alumni in Houston than there are in Louisiana.

And as long as politics continues to run as usual we will stay there.

We need people to start challenging these people in office, running our state.

While I know it cost money to run a campaign, if you gain momentum the money will come and with social media you can reach out to people a lot easier for cheaper.

Until that, it's going to be the same bullshite over and over.

The problem is that most decent people avoid political office.
