Thought i had read everything here, missed that though.
But that couldn't have been what I was thinking of if it's a year old.
Didn't a YC spox say something about how they were doing something new in the near future to improve service just a few weeks ago?
ETA- since I missed it earlier could you tell me the name of the app?

It shows time to pickup as fifteen minutes, at all times.
It also allows you to tip triple, even if they never show.

I usually use the Uber cab app which could not be any easier. They store your CC information so you never need cash, it finds your current location for pickup and shows you where the car is on a map. But for some reason thought I would give Yellow Cab a try. The app crashes on me as soon as it opens and gets to the login screen and never gets past that! I have tried restarting my phone, redownloading the app and even resetting my phone and still nothing! With that and the reviews from everyone else with it never finding them a cab, I am just going to stick with Uber. There is a reason everyone in Dallas uses Uber and it's because nobody else can even come close to their service and ease of doing business with them. Great job Uber and Yellow Cab, you really should have worked on your app in the "test" phase for a little longer.

Still crashes on start up

Figured I'd give it a try since time had passed since most of the bad reviews and Flywheel (great app) doesn't include Yellow Cab. Downloaded, opened it, it crashed, opened again, it crashed deleted the app. Guess Yellow Cab is doing well because they clearly aren't trying to attract mobile users!

I've had the Yellow Cab app for a year and Uber for 2 months. I'd gladly pay more for uber...But uber is still cheaper.
And btw, good job with your 1st post going this many pages. Its a shame your alter will get the credit and only your small circle of internet friends know who this really is.

Having an app but not actually changing your business model to use the app. 
So instead of calling, I can now use the app and never have a cab show up.

I just downloaded the app and tried to register. I have to wait for an email to confirm my registration
