frickers want tips for everything. They are putting tip lines on receipts at all kinds of places now that shouldn’t have them. They are out of their damn minds.

Do you understand the veiled threat?
That person or a co-worker is likely alone with your food.
Depending on the cultural make up of the kitchen staff, spit may be the best you will do.

Shouldn’t it be “peeing on your parents?”

I’ve been to many stores that ask for a tip just for checking you out. Can you imagine if next the grocery checker wants a tip? That’s coming!
Taco Bell is good for, “ you want to round up to the higher dollar?”

Tipping makes sense for actual service. Not for checkout.

Service is an art-form, really.

Just yesterday:
Employee: "Your total is [whatever it was], would you like to round up to help with children's education?"
Me: "No thanks. Would you like to round down to help with my budget?"
Employee: :Silence:

I was getting a biscuit in a local gas station the other day. The lady working behind the counter was coughing all over and starting saying "it's tippin Tuesday! its tippin Tuesday". I'll never go back to that gas station. The Popingos next door is better anyway

I wanna make an app that automatically sends payment requests for a tip to all cell phones in bluetooth range.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this interaction with me as i walked by you. Please tip here.
Just walk around the airport, see what i can get.

Ppl these days expect a tip for literally everything.
I’m glad tipping has gone down. Service pretty much everywhere you go is dogshit so it’s based on merit. You’re not entitled to any damn thing. Make sure to show great service and ppl will
Tip accordingly

Business owners are trying to avoid raises and improve retention by pushing it onto the customer.
I don’t blame the cashier for the tip prompt. Most I’ve come across seem to be embarrassed by it.
