I used to wonder why the terrorists hated us so much save for occasionally bombing them and regime changes. But now I have the answer: new dating show from Netflix called Sexy Beasts. It's basically a furry dating show.

How fricked up did the executives at Netflix have to get to think this was a good idea? Did they just wake up after a night on bath salts and PCP and realize they gave this show the greenlight with a 5 million dollar budget? Is furry community really worth catering too? I can't imagine any other demographic that would watch this show. Just when I think society can get any lower or stupider, they go and pull this off.

Did you even watch the trailer?

It’s clearly using the influence of the Masked Singer to answer the age old question “how important is personality when picking a partner”?

It also looks like they chose conventionally attractive people so there won’t be that much suspense.

Is it original? No
Am I going to watch? No, but I doubt that I’m in the target audience.

Will it be a hit? Hell if I know.

Is it a “furry dating show”? No, come on.

OM loves some dramatic flare in his faux outrage.

I think the Masked Singer sucks as well. Never understood the appeal of that show.

You are joking but this probably isn't too far from the truth.

I’ve seen about 20 minutes of the show and it didn’t interest me, either. However that is a show catering to people who like Dancing with the Stars and discovering which C list stars have secret talents rather than to furries

So it's "Love Is Blind" except with animal masks instead of a wall.

Pass.

It'd be more intriguing if they actually threw some buttafaces in there. Give me some guys with a nice cleft lip.

It's just a bunch of attractive people dating other attractive people in Halloween costumes.

On average, furries estimated that the prevalence of furries in the population was between 1 in 2,500 and 1 in 5,000 people, or about 1.4 - 2.8 million furries worldwide.

That doesn’t seem like a big enough audience for a $5 million show.

I'm being a tad hyperbolic here, but still a low for dating shows as far as I'm aware.

There is an HBO documentary on these sick fricks. Its pretty old, because if I recall it was awhile back (years ago) when I watched it.

It was about people who dress up in mascot type outfits and they have meet and greets and shite. Evidently its a fetish. I didn't watch the whole thing because... Well.. because it was about this shite.

Do you not realize that none of the people in the show are actual furries? Or are you just a moron?

Its just a dating show with people in elaborate disguises/costumes.
