I really dont mind it too much. I still get out and run or bike midday and as long as Im putting in work and moving it isnt bad. Now just standing or sitting around is unpleasant. If I'm gonna be outside being active and sweating anyway the extra few degrees isnt a big deal. It's extra motivation when you thin of all the people sheltering indoors because it's sweltering, makes even a 3 mile run feel like a bit of an accomplishment.

Fat people don’t like the pool all that much. Summer pool season is the best few months of the year.

My pool was 94 degrees yesterday. This morning it was 91. Not that refreshing.

I hate it. There is almost nothing to do event wise in the area.
I don’t watch any sports this time of the year
Cutting the grass sucks.
Even hanging out in the swimming pools kinds old by July.
Don’t even like grilling this time of year

I work outside all week so when the weekend comes you can find me sitting in my recliner watching movies after the yard work is finished. Can’t wait for fall.

I remember 30 years ago or so that NFL training camps would start just about now with the HOF game usually around the last weekend of July and the pre season starting the week after. But nowadays the first full weekend is not until the 15 th or so....and really we don't even really see the starters until kickoff of the regular season. Used to have more week 0 games the weekend prior to Labor Day as well in college football.

Pro baseball sucks as well. Used to be that after the All Star break MLB would start to get interesting. These days I don't even begin to pay attention until Labor Day.

However, today I found a great deal on NY Strips and got me some Anchor Steam in honor of them going out of business so I have that simple pleasure to literally sweat over.

About the only thing you can do outside right now, for any length of time, and still enjoy yourself.

Same. This is easily the worst time of the year in the South. Give me cool fall mornings over this any day.

Monterey has Cali Roots Festival. Acts this year included: Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill and Shaggy.

There were commoners everywhere, including yours truly.

Monterey isn’t Beverly Hills.

Immerse yourself, then float above it and let the sun evaporate the water off you to cool you off.

The Summer doldrums

It’s definitely a thing.

Every year from early June til football starts I get legitimately depressed and its 100% heat related.

You cant go outside or do anything outside and it’s miserable if you try.

From right after the 4th of July to late August......It has to be the WORST time of the year......and this year it's worse. Too frickin hot.

I spend two to three weeks in Colorado, late June into early July, each year. Coming back to this heat just makes me depressed.
