Didn't Solyndra have the same issues?

Oh please, Twitter has- or I should say had 10 managers for every coder. Those are the ones that got the boot a little less than two hours ago.
And Twitter never made a profit and was losing money as was. Like I said a few pages back, at least Musk is attempting a shake up.
This is why “liberals” who think this is some gotcha are so short sighted and emotional. What was the point of continuing down the path Twitter was already on? It was going nowhere and slowly bleeding out.
Musk will either save it, or slice it open so it dies quick and salvage the tech to something else

Absolutely. Nothing ever goes wrong for the people I like, and when it seems like it does - it's actually good.

"Good! frick that cock-gargling commie. She wanted me put to death in a gas chamber because she selected art for the hallways at Twitter." -OML, probably.
I get that fat needs to be trimmed. I've done it. It sucks, but that's the way it goes sometimes. It should not be celebrated, however. Sad, pathetic people do that.

It wasn’t directed at you. Sorry. I just replied.

Look at when they last had power and how they pushed through the elimination of the filibuster for judicial nominees. They were proud of themselves for that one, and what happened? President Trump was elected and there was little they could do to prevent his nominees from being confirmed. It would have been extreme to filibuster every single nominee, but they would have tried. However, they removed that tool from their toolkit.

Bull fricking shite. These assholes tried to get millions of people fired from their job for not complying with corrupt government orders that were also illegal. Excuse me if I don’t celebrate this:

The lady curating art, yeah, she probably didn't do anything wrong and I feel bad for her.
But for anyone who spent their employment participating in or advocating for suppressing speech, manipulating the public, etc. (which appears to be a large amount of people at Twitter) I'm rejoicing in their job loss today, and I'm not one bit ashamed of that.

I’ve just been laughing all fricking morning. What a great day for humanity.
I get that hardcore progressives account for a much higher proportion of Twitter’s workforce than the population as a whole. And I get that there are legit reasons to be pissed at certain segments of that workforce given their actions over the past few years.
But your reaction to this is A) completely manic and B) a bit sadistic.
I don’t really GAF what happens to Twitter as a company - I think modern social media is terrible for society as a whole. But I’m not going to literally celebrate thousands of people losing their jobs either. Even if 80% of the folks getting fired belong to the group you keep talking about, 20% don’t.
Take your lithium.
