The only thing to do in San Antonio is look at all of the fat women with disgust.

Every tourist attraction is a dump.

If the masses like it, it's probably trashy and unfulfilling.

Can always go to the ghost tracks. SPOILER: it's just a trick of line-of-sight

Laredo is where it is at.

Too bad Obama had Minutemen labeled as terrorists... if they were still around could spend the night with them.

Other than that, just leave San Antonio behind and go ride through hill country. You'll be better for it. I saw a giraffe running beside us like a damn border collie on a fence line once near Blanco once. Beats anything SA has to offer.

San Antonio was the most disappointing place I ever traveled to. River walk was drunk passed out Mexicans everywhere with foakleys and fake costas for sale. The Alamo was fake and rebuilt. Trash city.

I’ve said this for years and nobody ever believes me.

90% of SA sucks.

San Antonio's primary attraction, their Riverwalk, really is a quarter mile of ultra-condensed Mickey Mouse horse shite

Expect to pay $12 for a Budweiser longneck at any rando Disney Channel "bar", God forbid if you want a shot of liquor- it is by design prohibitevly expensive (15.00 for a 1.25 oz)- understandably to prevent sacks of wine from walking/falling into the San Antonio Creek.

There is no guard-rail along this shallow and narrow stream, but it is a swiftly-moving body of water, so people can fall into this feeble creek and potentially be comically swept downstream- I'm counting this as a positive.

Never been to San Antonio but I can tell you with 100 percent certainty it's better than Baton Rouge

Sure, but imagine saving up money to vacation in San Antonio, or God forbid make it a bachelor trip kind of destination...

It's a fine place to live and make a living, raise a family, blaze a path for yourself-but the tourist downtown area is beyond ridiculous

At least it has tourism. Besides coming to see your team play against LSU nobody is visiting BR

All that and is the hottest, most humid feeling place in the USA, in the summer.

That’s saying something being from South La.

It’s always a fun weekend trip. Anything more than a couple nights gets old.

I 100% concur. River walk was bourbon st covered in dirty arse water without the t&a.

I’m no military strategist but why didn’t the messicans just go around the little damn thing.

Why are you so obsessed with Baton Rouge. I’ll compare passport stamps with you any day, I’ve been to every state and every major city. Baton Rouge is a wonderful place to live it’s a great place for kids to grow up. Criminals are increasing but it has never effected me or anyone I know. I’ve literally been everywhere and may be my favorite place.
