It’s well established that republicans are more charitable than democrats. This is a bullshite narrative based on the notion that republicans are not in favor of rampant handouts that are abused and shrink the pool of available resources for those truly in need.
Every single dollar the government collects for any given purpose will have a large portion going to a bullshite program or even to another country. Look no further than the current “infrastructure” bill. What portion of those funds will go to building materials? Direct labor?

There has never been a vaccine mandate of this scale for a virus with such a low mortality rate. When the Smallpox vaccine came out, everyone wanted it because of the disease's insanely high morality rate. It was also a highly contagious disease, unlike Ebola, that could spread quickly in an outbreak. Covid-19 kills less than 1% of those that it infects. For many of us who got it it was no worse than a head cold.
It's also disconcerting for many people that it's so brand new. Most vaccines take years to develop. This vaccine came out in less than a year.

Actually know someone that had to make this decision. Ex's attorney was pushing to file to revoke custody if he didn't get the jab. Rather than fight it (to avoid more attorney costs and it possibly working) he went and got the jab.

If I have a good job and don’t want to lose it I would get it. If I’m a dirtbag with no job or a really shitty job then you have more leverage.
I feel fairly comfortable that the shot won’t change much in my life. I think at the end of the day almost everyone will get it. Especially if their jobs require it.
