Just be present, focused on well being of your kids, teach them and give them room to figure out this big world we are in, and instill family and respect of others’ values.
And beware of the political commercial apparatus that creates frenzied division. Don’t be a victim of this apparatus. IMO, “Rubicon” thinking lives there.

But there are others' values that are inherently wrong and we need to make sure our children know that. For example- if one of their classmates spews trans ideology then they need to know that that is completely false and wrong. I believe we have to get past respecting our peoples values when they are categorically false.

Yes I have as have you it's not uncommon. Come on man this is exactly what I'm talking about. You are arguing with me to paint your beliefs as the superior one. When challenged with it your solution is to deny deny deny. Even if I was to go find these examples your next step would be to get into a semantics war over it.
and that is why we are here. too many people have dug their heels in and are going "Me good, Them bad" on both sides of the aisle and it has further widened the crack.
There is no one side better than the other. Everyone group/religion/political party has a range from really good stand up people all the way to dangerous radicals. None are immune to it. Let's try to stop hating each other because we think we are 100% right about our beliefs. We are all just trying to survive and do our best at the end of the day. we can do it without hate.

I love summer. I hate winter.
I live in a world with 4 seasons.
I don’t agree with winter. I respect winter. I do warm things in winter.
I have never shot at a snowman, and a snowman has never shot at me.
This is not a mutually exclusive cross road. However, Rubicon thinking is. Good luck with that!

Why should people with vastly different ideologies live under the same roof?

Yeah because the vast majority of violent criminals aren't card carrying democrats either. Violent criminals can't vote why would they be registered to any political party or care about politics at all. They have already decided to live outside the law and you think they have political affiliations?

I know with every single cell in my body that my beliefs are correct. Biblical teaching is the ONLY truth. I'm not forcing you to believe what I believe, and I don't hate you if you believe differently from me. If you believe anything other than Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life then you are completely wrong and thats your choice.

Not sure where you're going here and how any of those things represent your or someone else's values.

You have said over and over again in this thread that the only solution is to force your religion on people. Even going so far as to state you should be able to tell other peoples children their beliefs are wrong if your child happens to hear them in school.
but yeah you are not for "forcing" anything. You are talking out of both sides of your mouth there bud.

The rest of us simply move about and associate with people of all kinds of political beliefs and nobody gives a shite.
More to the point, nobody knows what anybody's political beliefs are because it doesn't come up. I know statistically speaking most people I encounter IRL voted for Trump because of the demographics of the area. But unless I straight up ask them they're unlikely to bring it up.
Then I come on here and find people who base their entire worldview on politics, down to which entertainers and sports figures they do or don't like.

Anybody who's identity is tied to politics is someone I do my best to not associate with.

It’s not about summer or winter. It’s about summer and winter. Can enjoy / live this very short life that God gave you without featuring / centralizing the differences between us (seasons).
Fear the fear that the commercial political division machine creates. Rather, live your life / values. Defend them if threatened. Not necessary to pit against anyone.
It can be done.
No rubicons.

There is one collection of mentally deranged, Godless losers who would seem to need your condescension more than the people of the OT.

Bud. I think the only thing that can save this world is if people teach THEIR OWN CHILDREN in biblical values. I never said I would tell another child their views are wrong, but I did say I want my children to know what values are right and wrong. I would also be perfectly okay with my child telling someone spewing trans ideology that they are wrong to their face. I want my child to have the confidence in who they are and what they know to be right. I pray every night that I do a good enough job where they will have the courage to do the right thing and stand by their values always.

Lol. My screen name is what people labeled the early Alabama teams with Nick Saban when they would just impose their will on teams. Just a sports reference.
