It's amazing to see them with most of the snow gone.

It's usually totally gone for a month or so in August around here. I like to see them totally covered in snow as much as possible.

They were still about 50% covered yesterday. Haven't even been outside to look today.

Same, generally means less chance of a bad fire season.

Only the highest mountains around here, the ones above 10,500 feet, still have any snow on them at all now. Makes me worry about August.

I took this last month in the olympics. Wasn't a whole lot of snow to begin with this year.

I've gotten pretty lucky during this heat wave. The area I'm in has been around 10-15 degrees cooler than the rest of Seattle this entire time. Showing about 89 right now while there are parts of the city at 107-110

Currently live in Tri-Cities, WA. It’s Southeast Washington. It is straight up S Louisiana summer weather today. The last few days didn’t match the weather in S LA. It’s bizarre being only 4 hours from Canada and having weather like S LA.

It was 108 when I left my office in Olympia at 5.

It's now "down" to 100.

The highs here had steadily been in the 50s for most of June. Was starting to wonder if Summer was coming. But it's definitely here now.
