His lawyer is trying to take focus off the crime and turn it into an issue of funding for social programs.
It is a good thing his lawyer is not in charge of anything. It is also good that there is a video to show that he is not a good boy, etc. He also has his juvenile rap sheet to help tell the rest of the story of who he is.

No dumbass, your client is being incarcerated because YOUR CLIENT decided to be the piece of shite he is and assault someone for no damn reason. The system didnt cause the victim to be injured, YOUR CLIENT caused him to be injured.
WTF ever happened to personal responsibility? How the hell is it always someones elses fault? You did it now pay the piper and accept whatever punishment comes your way, plain and simple.

What happens when he gets out at age 36? We put his back in jail for another 20 years when he commits another similar crime.
